The quiz where the wrong answer runs away

Most "send this to a friend" quizzes are polite. You answer honestly, you get a result, everyone moves on. NoodleStrike is not polite. You write up to five yes/no questions, and for each one you decide which button is going to misbehave. Your friend gets a real choice on screen and no real choice at all.

That's the whole joke, and it lands harder than it has any right to, because the person playing spends about thirty seconds convinced their phone is broken before they work out what's happening.

Three ways to break a button

Dodge makes the button slide away from the cursor. It roams the entire screen, so chasing it is genuinely hopeless. On a phone it jumps the moment a finger gets near.

Multiply is the cruel one. The button looks completely normal and it responds to taps, it just ignores the first few. People assume the page is lagging, tap harder, then give up and press the other one. Nothing visibly moves, which is exactly why it works.

Swap waits until the click is about to land and trades the two buttons' places. Your friend picks the answer you wanted by accident, which is somehow funnier than if they'd picked it deliberately.

However they get there, they land on a shareable card with all five questions and the answers they "gave". That card is usually the thing that ends up in the group chat.

What people are actually building

Every quiz starts from a template or a blank slate, and the templates are sorted by topic. These four are the most used right now:

• Will you go on a date with me? (Dating) - the original, and still the one people reach for most.
• Are you actually sick today? (Work/School) - best sent to the person who has already told you they're sick.
• Are you a real Grand Theft Auto VI fan? (Gaming/Hobby) - rigged so that the answer is always yes, obviously.
• Do you actually like hanging out with me? (Friendship) - cheerfully passive aggressive, which is the entire point.

There are plenty more across roommate arguments, gym excuses, pet ownership and everyday small lies. Every one of them is playable in full before you build anything, so you can watch the trick happen first.

Vote on the characters

Every quiz is narrated by a character who reacts differently to each question, and there are seven of them. They're not decoration. Picking the right one is what makes a quiz feel like a bit rather than a demand.

Each character has their own page with every mood they can pull, and you can rate them one to five stars. The standings shift as people vote, and right now they look like this:

• Bunny leads on rating at 4.7 stars, which surprises nobody. Eight moods, and the puppy-eyes guilt trip does a lot of heavy lifting.
• Mary is tied on 4.7. Composed, faintly judgmental, makes a wrong answer feel like a raised eyebrow.
• Leonardo has pulled the most votes of anyone at nearly a thousand, sitting on 3.9. Nervous and dramatic in equal measure.
• Trevor is the newest arrival and has the widest range on the roster at fifteen moods, from undercover cop to bank robber. He's barely been voted on yet, so his rating is wide open.
